You had every intention of documenting each sweet milestone and moment of your baby’s first year…

From the way your heart exploded when they first placed her on your chest to his hearty belly laugh and everything in between.

Life with your new babe is magical, yes. But it’s also exhausting. You barely have time to shower, let alone pull out the scrapbooking supplies and string together coherent sentences to write on those tiny baby book lines.

As you flip through the blank pages of that traditional baby book, the beautiful moments that have gone undocumented flash through your mind.

The guilt is overwhelming. But I’m here to tell you there is hope!

I believe every parent can create a beautiful baby book of their baby’s first year in just five minutes a week, with no stress and no guilt.

You don’t have to be a “Pinterest parent” to be successful. With The Short Years Baby Book App as your baby book personal assistant, you’ll find yourself with a completed baby book at the end of baby’s first year.

Imagine the relief you’ll feel knowing you can just take a few minutes to update your child’s baby book from your phone while feeding your baby or watching Netflix on the couch.

Imagine the time you’ll save by not having to order photos online, glue those photos into a baby book, pull out the pretty pens and traditional baby book and formulate what you’re going to say before trying to squeeze it perfectly onto those tiny lines.

Imagine the peace and satisfaction you’ll feel at the end of baby’s first year, knowing you’ve documented the amazing moments and milestones of the year in an heirloom-quality baby book.

When you use The Short Years Baby Book + App to document baby’s first year, you’ll find yourself with a beautiful and (miracle of all miracles!) finished baby book when your child turns one.

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I imagined myself lovingly filling out the pages of her traditional baby book after putting her down for the night. I was confident I would finish the year with a sweet keepsake of our magical year together.

Then she arrived.

I remember watching YouTube videos on “how to nurse a newborn” at 2 a.m. with tears streaming down my face as I tried to get my screaming baby to latch. I was stressed out, sleep deprived, and really just surviving.

The pretty baby book I had purchased from Etsy sat empty on the counter...a reminder of yet another thing I couldn’t seem to do right as a new mom. That little book continued to be a source of stress hanging over my head that entire first year.

Two years later, her little brother was born. I again attempted a traditional baby book, but with an infant and a toddler to care for, I simply could not do it. When I was pregnant with my third child, I was determined to find an easier way.

I scoured the Internet for an app or program that solved the baby book dilemma, but could not find one that was both super easy and resulted in a beautiful, modern baby book.

So I decided to make my own.

I shared my vision with my husband (who is a software developer) and we worked together to solve the baby book struggle once and for all.

I used The Short Years Baby Book App to document our new baby’s first year. And despite the stress of that year--launching a new company, adding a third baby to the mix, and building a house--I still managed to finish his baby book right around his first birthday. I simply answered the prompts and uploaded photos while I was nursing him at night. My tiny bits of effort resulted in a beautiful baby book that our family will cherish forever.

And now it’s my absolute joy to share this parent hack with you!
